Messaging Guide: Hands Off Our Vote

From FBI raids of voting rights organizations, to the destruction of the Voting Rights Act and threats to vote-by-mail, this regime is determined to keep us from voting and keep our votes from counting so they can seize more power by controlling the outcomes of our elections. It is critical we start organizing the direct actions that will protect our freedom to choose our leaders and ensure the will of the people prevails this November. We need to inoculate against the racial scapegoating of anti-voter forces and cultivate a committed, loud, and ongoing mass movement of people across all spectrums, activated to protect our freedom to vote and ensure the will of the people prevails. With the regime already installing their anti-voter agenda, it’s critical we start organizing and preparing direct actions now to demand Hands Off Our Vote. This messaging guidance is based on extensive qualitative and quantitative research, and centers a new narrative to empower and mobilize our base, protect our vote, and demand free and democratic elections.
